A Fabulous Transformation on a Budget

This wonderful townhouse in the South East of Calgary offered great living spaces to enjoy. However, the presentation of the house felt tired and I saw many reasons why buyers would talk the listing price down. The house had not been updated in many years and felt tired.

This staging transformation was one for the books. One of the key buying centers of a house, is the kitchen. Our timelines were short and we did not have time or a large budget for a full renovation. I offered the owner my home staging advice on paint colors for the cupboards and walls, suggested new vinyl flooring and spraying the counters to update this kitchen instantly. New hardware and a large piece of artwork were the finishing touches on this freshly update kitchen (same kitchen!).

The house showed so well and our targeted demographic of young professionals, was correct. This townhouse sold within a week of listing for top dollar. Sometimes a small investment needs to be made, to reach a full potential and successful sale.
