An award winning transformation!

The bungalow that I prepared for sale, was an amazing acreage in Rocky View, West of the city of Calgary. The owners loved styling their home to their personal taste, had larger and eye-catching home décor items and a lot of rooms in the house were themed, decorated in a very personal style. Absolutely wonderful and fun when you live in the house. Not quite suitable for selling.

The biggest concern the owners had were the gold plated pillars in their living room. A well-known designer created these and the sellers were opposed to painting them out, to a neutral color. I suggested boxing the pillars in, with drywall, leaving their creation underneath, just in case the house did not sell………. I offered the sellers my home staging advise and they indeed checked every box on my list! The pink walls got painted in a neutral color, personal décor was removed and the overall presentation simplified. After everything was in place, you started noticing the amazing view, the stained glass, the cozy nook for breakfast and the size of this amazing living room.

What a success and amazing results. This acreage was sold within a month, with lots of interest and showings. This transformation was part of my submission which won me Home Stager of the year Canada! Win win
