When we were listing our home, it was unfurnished. Yvonne with Staging Calgary took the time to walk through our home and advised on what she felt we needed in order to obtain a quick sale at the best possible price. As we had already purchased another home, this was a great solution. Not having our home staged, I believe, would have led to a longer sale process due to the fact that the place would look like a house, not a home. Yvonne used the current colour of our walls (which she also helped us pick out previously) and used her furnishings and accents to make the home look amazing! Once the realtor saw the house staged, they increased the price by 3 to 4 times the cost of the staging. We sold very quickly and we are happy.

My husband and I recently moved into a tiny, 100 year old home. While we loved the wall color in the living room/dining room (i.e. spring green), the rest of the rooms were dull and drab. Thankfully the painting company we hired put us in touch with Yvonne Laanstra. Yvonne was fabulous to work with. She asked what colours we were thinking of using, and what look and feel we were going for (simple cottage). Based off of that info, she then selected hues that complemented the existing spring green walls and maple hardwood floors. The end result….tranquil colours that are in harmony with one another.
